Newsletter - July

Another month down! We are happy to report that Jeff has successfully completed another cycle. That makes 5 down and 19 more to go!

Jeff’s Chemotherapy:

            Jeff has now completed his fifth cycle of Chemotherapy. We have found out that he will stay at the 400 mg dosage through the end of his treatment period. We also found out that he will be on Chemotherapy for two full years. The countdown has begun. Jeff continues to do better each cycle. We have now noticed that his tougher days are towards the end of his cycle rather than the beginning as it was at the start of his chemo treatment.

Relay for Life – Cancer Walk

            We have started a team “Sanctified” to walk at the Relay for Life Cancer Walk on August, 6^th – August 7^th in Chino, CA. We would love to see everyone out there for support. This team is not only to show support for Jeff as he continues to battle the cancer, but everyone that has ever been affected by cancer. Ending Notes:

            As we get through another month, things seem to be getting a little easier. Jeff finally was able to get back in the water this past weekend. Thanks Mark for taking him out. Jeff had a great time; he said it felt real good to get back on his surfboard. But as we anticipated, there was a little discomfort from not being out in the water for so long. This should go away once he continues to go out more.

Please pray for our continued strength and determination for all of us to pull through this road bump that God has put in our lives. We know there is a purpose as there always is, we just want to know what it is.
